Leadership development programs Job Description • Senior Network Engineer will also be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities required to fulfil and support network services to enterprise customers. These include the management of existing and development of new network infrastructure systems, as well as managing system and network administration. • Resume building service Key Responsibilities • Extensive hands-on engineering level support on switching and routing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS/VPLS, spanning tree protocols e.g.; MSTP, RSTP, 802.1x, 802.11, 802.16, VPN, DMVPN, SDN, VRRP/HSRP, WAN Acceleration, QoS, VoIP, VTC, cloud, Automation and similar network technologies. • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network communications failures and bottlenecks. • Ability to analyze system logs, identifying potential issues and troubleshooting any reported network problems • Switching tasks include VTP, ISL/ 802.1q, IPSec and GRE Tunneling, VLANs, Ether Channel, Trunking, Port Security, STP and RSTP. • Configuration of LAN/WAN/WLAN links using VSI/ L2VC, for MPLS L2VPN will be required to be available for on-call duties on a need basis. • Understands and assist in technical strategies in the design, configuration and maintenance of LAN, WAN and wireless networks to ensure the stability, integrity and operational effectiveness and efficiency of network services. • Participates in the design and configuration of internal and/or external networks as required for assigned projects. • Supervise IP/MPLS services’ implementation covering the installations, testing & handover. • Proactively perform corrective maintenance for IP/MPLS network. • Develop automation and other internal systems and tools to assist in the care and feeding of the IP/MPLS network and integration activities. • Responsible for network planning, configuration, and implementation. • Design and develop routing topology for Core /Access/Metro/Edge network infrastructures and for converged data & communications services and their successful integration. • Drive Digital Transformation Agenda using Cloud, Security, Big-Data, IOT, SDN, SDS, SDWAN, and SDWAN Responding to RFQ & preparing proposals. • Leadership development programs Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or related field or its equivalent. • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in troubleshooting and managing IP networks. • Hands on experience in Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, Bluecoat is required. • A thorough understanding of network technology and protocols. • Operating systems knowledge. • Advanced knowledge in cabling structured network.
