Job summary We're looking for a Senior Sales & Partnerships Manager to own revenue growth at Gradely end to end. This is a dual mandate: you'll rebuild and drive our B2C sales pipeline — turning leads into paying customers and eventually leading a team to do the same at scale, while also owning B2B partnership conversations from first contact through signed Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: B2C Sales: • Take full ownership of the B2C sales pipeline, from refreshing and re-qualifying existing leads to designing a repeatable process that consistently converts new leads into paying customers. • Own conversion at every stage of the funnel: outreach, follow-up, objection handling, closing, and renewal/upsell. • Set and track sales targets, pipeline health metrics, and conversion benchmarks; report progress regularly to leadership. • Build, train, and eventually lead a small sales team as volume grows, defining roles, quotas, scripts, and performance standards. • Work closely with Marketing on lead quality and handoff, and with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding. B2B Partnerships: • Identify, prospect, and lead partnership conversations end to end — schools, edtech players, corporates, NGOs, and other institutional partners. • Structure and negotiate partnership terms, from first outreach through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement. • Manage the ongoing relationship with signed partners to ensure value delivery and identify opportunities for renewal or expansion. • Represent Gradely credibly in external meetings and partnership pitches, tailoring messaging to institutional stakeholders. General: • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and partnership status in our CRM/tracking tools. • Feed market and customer insights back into product, pricing, and marketing decisions. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development, with a track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets — ideally with exposure to both consumer (B2C) and institutional/enterprise (B2B) sales. • Demonstrated experience managing a full sales pipeline independently, from lead to close, not just executing a process someone else built. • Experience negotiating and closing partnership or institutional deals end to end. • Prior experience building or leading a small sales team, or clear readiness to do so. • Comfortable working with targets, forecasts, and pipeline data to make decisions, not just gut instinct. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; equally credible speaking with a parent on a sales call and a school administrator in a partnership pitch. • Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and willing to do hands-on execution alongside strategic thinking. • Experience in edtech, education, or consumer subscription businesses is a strong plus.
