Finance & Grants Manager

Responsibilities: Grant & Fund Management: • Track, monitor, and report on restricted funds and grants • Ensure all expenditures align with donor regulations and approved budgets • Monitor grant milestones and reporting timelines Budgeting & Forecasting: • Develop annual organizational and project-specific budgets • Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights Financial Reporting: • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Present financial reports to management and Board of Directors • Simplify financial data for non-financial stakeholders Compliance & Audit Preparation: • Coordinate annual external audits and tax filings • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulatory requirements • Maintain adherence to donor and tax-exempt guidelines Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes • Manage payroll and financial controls • Maintain and optimize accounting systems and chart of accounts Requirements: • A minimum of 5 years of experience in non-profit finance, accounting, or grants management • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration • ACA certification is required • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with accounting or fund-accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) • Strong understanding of donor regulations (e.g., UN, USAID, EU, or similar institutions) Soft Skills: • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to collaborate across teams • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Why Join Us: • Opportunity to work within a mission-driven organization • Direct impact on financial sustainability and program success • Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – 600,000 Monthly Net Application Note: Only qualified candidates with relevant NGO and grant management experience will be contacted.
