The Fulfilment Officer is responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of chocolate and related FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods) products to retail outlets, distributors, and customers as instructed. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, stock integrity, and customer satisfaction in a fast-moving consumer goods environment where freshness, speed, and reliability are essential. The roles and responsibilities are detailed below: Key Responsibilities: Delivery & Distribution • Deliver chocolate and FMCG products to assigned routes according to daily delivery schedules • Ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service • Load and unload delivery vans carefully and according to best food safety practices to prevent product damage. • Obtain proof of delivery and ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation FMCG & Product Handling • Handle chocolate and temperature-sensitive products in line with company quality standards. • Ensure correct storage conditions during transport (e.g. temperature protection, temperature monitoring, ventilation) • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles when handling stock • Inspect goods before loading and after delivery, reporting any damages or discrepancies Inventory & Fulfilment Accuracy • Pick up and verify orders to ensure accuracy before dispatch • Reconcile delivered quantities with invoices and delivery notes • Assist with stock counts, returns, and reverse logistics when required Vehicle & Safety Management • Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, cleanliness) and quarterly maintenance • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery van at all times • Report vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents promptly • Comply with all road safety laws and company driving policies Customer & Brand Representation • Act as a brand ambassador for the company during deliveries • Build positive relationships with customers and retail partners • Handle customer queries or delivery issues professionally and escalate when needed Qualifications & Skills: • Minimum of 2 years’ delivery driving, logistics, or FMCG distribution. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting • Ensure timely collection, validation, and submission of programme data. • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and activity reports. • Monitor programme indicators and ensure data quality. • Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including field assessments and supervision visits. Financial and Administrative Oversight • Support the preparation and monitoring of state activity budgets. • Ensure efficient utilization of programme resources. • Maintain proper documentation of programme activities and expenditures. • Ensure compliance with VHAN financial, administrative, and procurement policies.
