Job Title: State Coordinator Company Overview The Viral Hepatitis Association of Nigeria (VHAN) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to the prevention, control, and elimination of viral hepatitis through advocacy, awareness creation, screening, research, capacity building, and access to quality healthcare services. To strengthen the implementation of its programmes at the state level, VHAN is seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-driven State Coordinator to oversee programme implementation, stakeholder engagement, and operational activities within assigned states. Location: Kano, Nigeria Position Summary The State Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of VHAN's programmes and projects within the assigned state. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational leadership, engage key stakeholders, supervise field teams, ensure quality programme delivery, and support monitoring, reporting, and compliance with organizational and donor requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in public health or development programmes. Key Responsibilities Programme Coordination • Coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of VHAN programmes and activities within the assigned state. • Develop state-level implementation plans aligned with organizational and project objectives. • Ensure timely execution of project activities in accordance with approved work plans and donor requirements. • Monitor programme performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary. • Support the achievement of project targets and deliverables. Financial and Administrative Oversight • Support the preparation and monitoring of state activity budgets. • Ensure efficient utilization of programme resources. • Maintain proper documentation of programme activities and expenditures. • Ensure compliance with VHAN financial, administrative, and procurement policies.
