Role Overview • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Accountant to join its growing team. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting clients with insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support client decision-making • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies • Assist in the preparation of management reports and board packs • Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve financial reporting processes • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within a consulting firm or professional services environment • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools) • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA or in progress) is an added advantage • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
