Chief Executive Officer A Leading National Impact Investing Ecosystem-Building Organisation, Nigeria About Our Client Our client is a Nigerian non-profit organisation established to accelerate the growth and credibility of impact investing across the country. It convenes stakeholders across government, the private sector, and civil society, and serves as secretariat to a national advisory board it helped establish for impact investing policy and coordination. It is affiliated with a global network of national impact investing bodies and a pan-African impact investing coalition. The Opportunity Our client is seeking its next Chief Executive Officer to lead its secretariat and national advisory programme at a pivotal moment for Nigeria's impact investing ecosystem. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will carry forward a national ecosystem-building agenda while holding credibility simultaneously with government regulators, donors and development partners, and the private sector. This is a rare opportunity to shape the trajectory of an entire emerging asset class in Africa's largest economy, working at the intersection of policy, capital, and enterprise. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Ecosystem Building Set and drive the organisation's strategic direction in service of a growing, credible, and well-governed Nigerian impact investing ecosystem Represent the organisation as the national voice for impact investing, deepening its role within its global and pan-African affiliate networks Stakeholder Convening & Policy Advocacy Convene and align stakeholders across government, the private sector, and civil society around shared ecosystem priorities Engage with financial and pensions regulators to advance an enabling policy and regulatory environment for impact investing Lead policy advocacy efforts that translate ecosystem needs into regulatory and legislative outcomes Resource Mobilisation & Donor Relations Lead fundraising and donor relationship management to secure and sustain the organisation's funding base Cultivate relationships with development partners, institutional donors, and private capital providers Programme Oversight Provide executive oversight of the organisation's core programmes, including a wholesale impact investment vehicle, an enterprise support organisation collaborative, and a national impact investing research collaborative Ensure each programme delivers measurable impact against its mandate and reports transparently to the Board and funders Governance & Organisational Leadership Lead and develop the secretariat team, building institutional capacity and operational discipline Report regularly to the Board of Trustees and Governance Committee, maintaining high standards of financial and organisational governance Uphold the organisation's governance framework and executive succession policy in the CEO's own conduct and decision-making What Success Looks Like in the First Year A clear, Board-endorsed strategic roadmap for the organisation's next phase of ecosystem growth Strengthened relationships with key regulators and at least one tangible policy or regulatory advancement in motion A demonstrably healthier funding pipeline, with new or deepened donor relationships secured Core programmes each operating against clear performance milestones A secretariat team that is stable, capable, and operating with clear accountability Candidate Profile Knowledge Deep understanding of Nigeria's impact investing, development finance, and nonprofit governance landscape Working familiarity with Nigeria's financial and pensions regulatory environment Awareness of global impact investing frameworks and national-partner ecosystem models Skills Proven ability to mobilise resources and manage donor relationships at a senior level Strong policy advocacy and government relations capability Sound financial and organisational management skills, including oversight of multi-stakeholder programmes Excellent public representation and stakeholder communication skills across government, private sector, and civil society audiences Experience Senior leadership experience in development finance, impact investing, nonprofit management, or a closely related field A track record of building or scaling ecosystem-level initiatives, coalitions, or multi-stakeholder platforms Experience reporting to and working with a Board of Trustees or equivalent governance body Behaviours Hardworking, ethical, and governance-minded, with unimpeachable personal and professional integrity Collaborative and consensus-building, with the credibility to convene competing interests around a shared agenda Resilient and adaptive, comfortable op

Role purpose Own the safe, accurate and cost-effective operation of the Port Harcourt distribution centre. The Warehouse Manager leads people, processes, systems and client delivery to achieve inventory integrity, service-level compliance, efficient throughput and continuous operational improvement. Key accountabilities 1. Operations and service delivery • Plan and control receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, dispatch and returns to meet agreed service levels. • Translate demand, shipment and inventory plans into daily labour, space, equipment and dock schedules. • Maintain disciplined operations, workload allocation and escalation of service risks. • Ensure products are stored, handled, packed and dispatched in line with approved product, stacking and handling standards. 2. Inventory integrity and controls • Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through daily controls, cycle counts, reconciliations and timely investigation of variances. • Enforce FIFO/FEFO, batch and expiry controls, quarantine, segregation and traceability requirements, where applicable. • Implement preventive controls against shrinkage, damage, contamination, obsolescence, pilferage and documentation gaps. • Ensure all stock adjustments, damages, returns and write-offs follow approved authorization and audit trails. 3. Systems, records and reporting • Drive correct and timely use of the WMS/ERP and ensure every stock movement is accurately recorded. • Maintain complete operational records, including receipts, dispatches, transfers, counts, incidents and equipment checks. • Issue accurate daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting exceptions, root causes, corrective actions and owners. 4. Client and stakeholder management • Serve as the primary site contact for the client and maintain clear communication on priorities, performance, constraints and exceptions. • Lead operating reviews, resolve service issues promptly and deliver agreed corrective and preventive actions. • Coordinate transporters, vendors, regulators and other partners required for effective site operations. 5. People leadership, safety and compliance • Lead, coach and hold the warehouse team accountable through clear roles, daily direction, performance reviews and skills development. • Enforce segregation of duties, access controls, standard operating procedures and approval limits. • Maintain a safe workplace through risk assessments, toolbox talks, PPE compliance, incident reporting, emergency readiness and corrective action. • Ensure compliance with applicable client standards, company policies, insurance requirements and statutory obligations. 6. Cost, capacity and continuous improvement • Manage warehouse operating costs, overtime, consumables, equipment use and third-party services within approved budgets. • Monitor capacity, space utilization and storage configuration, recommending changes before constraints affect service. • Lead root-cause analysis and improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce handling, eliminate waste and strengthen controls. • Maintain business-continuity plans for disruptions, equipment failure, security events and abnormal inventory movements. Qualifications and experience • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline. • Minimum of 7-10 years’ progressive warehouse or distribution-centre experience, including at least 2 years leading a team or shift. • Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP transactions, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts and warehouse performance reporting. • Strong working knowledge of receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, FIFO/FEFO, stock controls and material- handling operations. • Experience in FMCG, raw and packaging materials, or high-volume multi-SKU warehousing is an advantage. • Relevant supply-chain, warehousing, safety or quality certification is an advantage.
